I had a guild friend who's side account was hacked over the weekend. Not CG'd, she hadn't been in the account in two weeks. Never does anything there except store her pets, and now they are gone.

One of my good neofriends lost an account for the same stated reason and had it returned fairly quickly not too long ago as well. There IS hope. :)

So sorry to hear about your account, Mimi. I hope you get it back soon. And yes, TNT better start seriously working on their site security. I mean without security, there is no point to anything else on the site.

I had someone try to recover my password and I can't even read the e-mail because it's in a different language. And when I reported it, I still haven't gotten any feedback about it. So frustrating.

With so much public attention to the issue of identity theft, you'd think they'd be more concerned about this - even if it won't affect RL identity - just because of their reputation. A site that doesn't have good security is not a reputable or professional site. It's horrendous! I guess I'm glad to be poor. I hope I'm poor enough.
