Hm really? Symantec is the main thing we have on my computer, and it seems to pick up the big viruses pretty well, though it won't pick up smaller things like cookies, and spybot often catches trogansm whatever. 00100100 00110001 00110000 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01110011 01101000 01101111 01110101 01101100 01100100 00100000 01100111 01101001 01110110 01100101 00100000 01101101 01100101 00101110

If your computer won't run those anti-malware programs, then you probably already have a virus or malware on there that is blocking them from being able to work. This is a very common strategy - to block operation of the programs that will remove them. You can often change the name of the .exe file during installation and get it to install just fine. If you don't understand what this means, ask someone to help you. It sounds like your computer needs a good cleaning out and probably a registry clean out, too. VERY IMPORTANT to be careful which website you are downloading your anti-virus and anti-malware programs from, as many many fake websites are out there trying to trick you. ONLY use the genuine manufacturer's website. Make sure to read the URL before you click onto the site to be sure it's genuine. Look closely at the words right before .com or .net. It should say (the company) then .com, NOT (thecompany)site.com or (the-company).com (with a dash) or any other variation. This is how the bad guys trick you into clicking onto a scam site from the search page. The genuine website and the scam website will look identical, so make sure the URL is genuine before you click on it. Just FYI: You can only have ONE antivirus program, but it's good to have at least 2 anti-malware (spamware/spyware) programs and make sure at least one of those is a paid subscription so it will block things in real time. The free ones will generally only remove something after it has infected you - much better to block it from coming in in the first place. It's a good idea to check and make sure you only have one antivirus program, because it's easy to end up with 2 by accident, and sometimes that is your whole problem. I like a combination of Malwarebytes AntiMalware (yes, it's superb at catching what they others miss) and SuperAntiSpyware because they use different technology from each other, so together they block just about everything. I have paid subscriptions of both of these, since either one alone will not catch all the bad guys. Hope this helps! Good luck! :) ~ Love books?
