Watch someone die from pancreatic cancer and you will never think it's funny. For those who don't know--when someone is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer it is already too late. The most doctors can do is prolong the life of the person. Less than 5% of people diagnosed are alive 5 years later. Most die within months of diagnosis. Books! Reasonable Prices!! http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=kermat13&misc

If you had taken the time to read the whole topic properly, you would have realised this was a dig at Kanye. I'm pretty sure most people who posted on here, if not all, have nothing but respect and sympathy for the deceased and their families. I've lost relatives to other forms of cancer and watched them deteriorate, so to think people who posted on here have no idea is most naive and ignorant of you IMHO. Meanwhile I also lost one of my closet family members to a heart attack (he had been relatively fit and healthy, developed a blood clot from travelling, which led to him having a heart attack and dying) so I can also understand the sudden loss side of thing as well in the case of Michaels family. Finally, I was a pretty big fan of Patrick and thought him to be an amazing actor, as I said in my original post I shall now say again RIP. ___________ Kirsty, aka evil super mod Sniper, maller, restocker Silverdragon siggy stealer Best wearables shop owner ever!

First off--there is no sudden loss from pancreatic cancer. It is a slow process where the body deteriorates. I watched my mother go from talking and doing normal things to having to be fed and taken care of for 28 days. That is a long time to watch someone die. This wasn't a sudden heart attack or tragic accident. This is a long process from the time you learn that it is fatal. It's not pretty, it's not graceful, it's not fast. It's incomparable to a heart attack, stroke or any other procedure where prognosis is good--you just die from this---period. How long you take to die from this is the only unknown. It's the most unimaginable disaster from diagnosis to death. There is a surgery that can be done if: the person is healthy enough to survive the 8-20 hour long surgery the cancer was caught early enough. I don't consider it something to make lite of. Books!
