Gavin63 do you have to use all your holidays up each year or can you save them and maybe go on a nice long holiday some other time?

Wow, that's lucky in a way. I work casually, but I still do almost the same hours as a full time worker, and for the past two years I haven't had ANY holidays at all, haha. It sucks, because technically I'm not entitled to them because I'm not part-time or full-time. Grrr.

We pretty much have to clear the 5 weeks each year
but we do get long service leave of 13 weeks every 7 years so that year we can have 18 weeks off with our annual leave as well
I feel sorry for the poor casual worker is the best way for an employer to rip off the employees entitlements

Well it's summer break here so my last exam is on Dec 11th and I start again on March 1st ;)
But on work, I MIGHT stop between xmas and new year's eve, but's not 100%
My lil guys last day of school is 12/17/09 and he goes back 1/4/10
my work week is fri-mon so i will have Christmas off and I also took off 12/21 for shopping :)
