If you're going to provide screenies -- please do one of what your user lookup looks like in IE AND what it should look like so we can see the problem. I can look at the coding but it would make it a lot easier to see what you are seeing. I have IE but I hate using it and well, it's just a lot of work to log-in to two browsers on Neopets to see your user lookup when you can post three screenies. ~ Mimi ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~ temps_bons graphics ~ http://www.neopets.com/~Mimi_Miaulement

Is that normal, or does mine just hate me? lol. Or it will take like 5 minutes, and then run OK for awhile, then freeze up for 5 minutes. lol. Ugh, delete IE from everyone, please!

Ugh, delete IE from everyone, please!
I too hate IE and any time it is used for Google searches I get a virus of some kind so I never use it! I think you may have some kind of virus if it is not loading, or you have an older version. I don't know if you CAN delete it from your computer because I have definitely tried! I had a virus so bad in IE (from using IE) that I had to upgrade to a newer version, delete the old version, then delete the version I just downloaded. I have some programs that use IE to access the internet when I click on Help. Also, another very annoying thing is that Microsoft will only use IE for certain of their functions (updates or something) so I had to re-install it AGAIN to be able to get their updates weekly. What a nightmare! Having said all this -- to the original poster -- THAT is why I want the screenies, so I don't have to even touch IE. ~ Mimi ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~ temps_bons graphics ~ http://www.neopets.com/~Mimi_Miaulement

I.E. unfortunately cant be deleted easily. It's integrated with windows so tightly that even if you do manage to delete it, what you'll get is a super-unstable windows installation and end up redoing it eventually. --------------------------------------------- Celebrate Xmas at Xmart. The program has roots like a plant and runs throughout windows. I just HATE knowing that a little bit of everything you do is left on your computer so who knows how much stuff is on this HD that I can't even see/delete that has been left from my deletion happy self! Do you know of any programs that can get rid of that residual stuff without reformatting the HD? BTW, does reformatting the HD get rid of that kind of what-not? ~ Mimi ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~ temps_bons graphics ~ http://www.neopets.com/~Mimi_Miaulement

Not that i know of. But i usually dont mess with that kind of stuff. Processors nowadays are fast enough that such residual stuff doesnt matter as much. But it does help to reinstall every so often. For that purpose, i keep all my data on a external hard drive but even then, i still gotta re-install programs so i've been lazy. And my backup of my hard drive programs is grossly outdated so it's useless pretty much. --------------------------------------------- Celebrate Xmas at Xmart. Ohh that. eeukqicmaj had an issue with that too. Basically what her problem was that she needed to add a z-index to define layers. Higher z-index values show up first, or on "top" of those layers with lower z-index values --------------------------------------------- Celebrate Xmas at Xmart.
