Stupid Firefox.
So, I kept refusing to download the newest firefox, because I always get issues if I do. Well, now every time I open firefox, it crashes. No matter what page I am on. So I finally got to the update page for Firefox, and installed that, and it still kept crashing. I just downloaded google chrome, after 10 tries, and it seems nice and transferred everything...but anyone ever have a problem like that with firefox? It makes me mad. lol And it deleted all my saved passwords and cleared everything, without permission. =/ What did I do? lol

Thats odd... Ive never had a problem with firefox before... :/ (Im too lazy to download the update as well though... ;) )

I have no idea why it does that to me. All browsers hate me. But this google chrome is quite fast and nice to me...but the setup is different...but it did save all my favorites, including my really weird list that is at the top of my browser, with must-needed sites =) It seems pretty basic though...cannot change much.

Lari, you could try completely uninstalling it. First export your bookmarks to html. Then uninstall. Then maybe even do a search on your PC for firefox to delete any lingering files. Then do a clean install over (and you can import your bookmarks back in from the html).

I had issues with the new firefox 3.6 (couldnt get into my school's blackboard system) so i downgraded it back to 3.5. I wish I had a better answer but I think that downgrading may be the only option for you. I have FF 3.5 and have not updated to the few versions. It seems when I do I have different difficulties with Neopets. The last one which was devastating to my using neopets until the next revision came around. It affected the number area in the shop pricing and the SDB inventory area's where the numbers went in to price or remove items. From then on I stopped grabbing the latest update until I knew my trusted family had used a version I would feel comfortable with. That issue was maybe a year or so ago and luckily did not last long but it was enough to stick in my head to not grab the latest and greatest from then on. It is my understanding from my computer geek friends that IE can be a little more susceptible to virus attachments and such where FF is not. Maybe that has changed lately but not to my knowledge. Yes. I have had the same problem with FF crashing! I downloaded the newer version 3.5.5 and it fixed the crashing but started doing other things I cannot think of at the moment (maybe I blocked it out because it was so taumatic, lol)...I feel safer using FF because No Script and Key Scrambler are working for me. It seems to be better for the moment and it may not even be FF giving you the problem. My kids' Neopets navigation bar was so messed up we had to use private browsing and then it just fixed itself after a windows update. Weird.
