Paranormal Experts are the "scientific" version.. a paranormal expert will have devices and tools that supposedly detect the presence of ghosts.
A psychic, on the other hand, is someone who claims to have a 6th sense (not tools) which gives them some kind of benefit other people don't have. Such as being able to see, hear, or sense spirits, or being able to see the future or the past, or being able to read events from items, etc.

It all becomes clearer, BTW my husband is an electronics nut and watches some of those programs (I hate them) but says that alot of those meters are simple tools to the simple electrician so be advised, scientific can still work out to be scammer as someone said earlier in this string
I am just along for the talk I guess... Thought I would throw that out there before you blast me I am just a simple person around for life's wild ride

Yeah, exactly. They claim to use science to "measure paranormal activity"... Buts its basically all hocus-pocus and scamming. Don't get me wrong... I believe with great certainty that evil exists... but I don't believe in psychics and "paranormal experts" detecting the presence of "ghosts"... I think thats a bunch of baloney. *nods*

I agree :) The ones that really have a "gift" or whatever for knowing if spirits are in your house probably aren't the type that will announce it to the world. Hell if I could do that I wouldn't want to tell ANYONE for fear of being the town looney.
