Malling Advice? [MM or full stock? :P]
Okay, so here's my situation right now ^^ I have a little over 19mill, enough to push me into MM and have about 1mill left to still keep the NPs flowing. I'm currently considering two options, and I was hoping for some outside advice (: I have a wearables shop in Desert Crew - and am definitely more than satisfied with profits, mall situation and everything, and I do encourage anyone out there to join us :D However, we are an Island Market Mall, and even after upgrading to MM, I have no intentions to leave ^^ So in the end, my two options are: 1. Upgrade to MM and rebuild with my 1mill, then work on stock 2. Spend all that I have to stock every single buyable wearable out on the market today, and then upgrade :P (of course, I don't know if 19 mill is enough to stock them all xD, and would need an experienced maller/neopian to give me an approximation on how much this would cost me :P) So yeahh...any suggestions? ;)

I just upgraded to 739 and I believe I am doing foods in your mall:P Wearables is a good spot, what you could do is upgrade and them buy all the cheaper wearables first and stock them.

I should have made a thread like this earlier. I just went ahead and spent it all to upgrade to MM. I had a little over a million left, which I need to restock with. I'm searching for a MM mall right now, and that's the main reason why I decided to upgrade instead of get stock. I sell petpets though, and there isn't as much variety as wearables. I'm just adding one or two new items every day and hoping that I'll be able to get all the petpets soon. If you don't plan on leaving your mall, then I'd say just get more stock first because you really don't gain anything from the larger size other than maybe a dozen more hut hits. That's my opinion. Hmm tough decision. Summer sales peak at beginning of July so you might have some time to upgrade later. But upgrading won't help unless your members are also main. You might notice some difference especially if you get top of a hut but without other main market members overseeing your hut position, i'd say any benefits would be marginal Conclusion: it's better spent on stock unless upgrading can get you into a main market mall but you already weeded out that possibilty.

You're in my guild too, Pumpkin ;) Thanks for the opinions, guys :D Wearables is such a fought after position, and I've been in TML for almost a year now, so regardless of my shop size, I don't think I'd be able to leave for another mall. The only reason I may leave (and come back! :P) is because of school, but I really am working hard to balance the two ^^ I guess I'll use that big chunk of NPs to stock all the wearables I can xD I think even after losing that chunk, I can still muster enough to upgrade to MM by early-mid June ^^ Dmitri, or anyone else stocking MM wearables: How much do you think full stock would cost me, and does it really help? :P Basically, will it be positive or have a negative effect because so many things are species only xD Thanks again! :*

My highest was around 80m. so i guess a full stock would cost around 110m maybe (unless you stock one of each item) then it might be lower

But petpets can be expensive too, can't it? :P All the petpets, and a lot of the painted ones can cost 80k each xD Of course, not so bad when you can restock draik MPs and Kads ;)

Painted petpets are quite HTS other than the really cute ones like Plushie angelpuss. ^^ I'm just going for all the basic colours and few of the non-ugly painted ones. Even if I get all the petpets and painted petpets, it wouldn't cost anywhere near 110mil. Just got lucky I guess. :P I still hate RSing with a passion. I can't resell to save my life, so meh.
