I'm a failure, this sucks.
Long story short I have the requirments to get into personal traning but they only acccepted the first 66 people that applied out of 168 total. Now I am sitting 12th on the waiting list accourding to my biology mark and the person thats sitting first on the waiting list has an 83%. Long sotry short I have to get a 95% inorder for my 66% to go to a 80%. I was an idiot and didnt apply for another "backup" career. And my mom is furious with me taking the first year off. Exspecially when they were going to pay for my university. Any suggestions? I hate how only one universtiy out of 4 have this course only. Very depressed atm.

What program are you in? And is this a uni program? Or high school bio that you need 95 in. ----------------------------- Contrary to popular belief, the Irish and I are not married

~ May ~ Well, IMHO, it's VERY unfair of your parents to be irritated with you because you didn't take a backup carreer. You didn't want another one, you wanted this one, so it's unfair they want you to get another one "just in case". There is nothing wrong with being 1 year off, I've done it before (hell, I took a year off, studied 6 months and took another year off) and it doesn't hurt anyone... If you really want to work with that, you should work hard and try to get in next time. It's worth it, when you finally get to work on what you like. Good luck

Have you check for this course online? Online offers many options. You will just need to find a college that carries this and then also make sure that it is transferable credit. If this is for high school, there may still be college courses for this. My son had to redo his freshman Math and English. He was given 1 year to complete this with one of the two college that the school is affiliated with. Parents, well they are worried about you taking off 1 year cause after that most people don't go back to school at all or until many many years later. That want to make sure that you are set up to be successful. Don't give up yet! Even though you didn't have a backup plan there are still options available.

I have to get 95% on my final which is on tuesday (highschool)in order to move up into first place on the waiting list. My dad owns a lot of buisnesses so he wants be to get a buisness degree but thats 4 years of schooling o_0. I also dont have pure stream math or physics which are needed to apply for that. As for the online I think they do offer that but I know that I would never get it complete on time. It will be more time consuming. I know I would have good intentions of getting it done but then there facebook and neopets and a whole bunch of other websites that would DEFINATLY distract me. Now I might see if I can go this following January in bancher of physical education if I have the marks. Grrr...I wish I could just start highschool over.

most respectable program/path will require 4 years of postsecondary education. You cant really run from that =/ ----------------------------- Contrary to popular belief, the Irish and I are not married

Is it possible to negotiate with your teacher to hand in some missed work or something like that? If you can hand stuff in before final reports come out, even if its after exams, it will make your life a lot easier and you wouldn't have to hope for a 95% on your exam :P I know its possible here in Mississauga, especially with some really nice teachers I know, and if its g12, with post-secondary applications, so you could try talking?

Well the personal traning program I was going into was a 2 year program. I handed in averything in biology and unfortunatly the final marks had to be submitted by a certain date which has already passed so I can redo assignments.
