Help! Which category - Training or Collectables?
My current status and position: Shop size: 107 MM Mall?: No, basic mall, a few hits from the mall a day. Profit: 50-100k Time spent restocking daily: 2-3 hours Super shop wizard?: No Ability to time the restock: Fairly good. 7-8/10 times. What should I do? Continue doing training, or switch to collectables?

Why do you want to switch away from training? If you're bored with it, then switch. If you'd rather do collectibles, then switch. Don't do a category that you don't enjoy. It will be easier to get into a large, recognized mall with a collectibles category than training as well. And there's more to stock with collectibles. (That's good or bad, depending on what you like). So really, stock what you enjoy. A category excel if the shop owner puts the work into their shop, and they don't do that if they don't enjoy stocking.

Training. Collectables should need lots of wizzing to make it work :) I personally LOVE training :* _______________________________________________ Bugsy's GUIDE to Effective SHOPKEEPING and MALLING: Version 3: Learn More About Hut Positioning http://www.neopets.com/~bugsy_lenny

I enjoy training, but it's tiring trying to find eight Vo codestones under 3.8k, then getting SW banned and having to wait for another 20 minutes until you can go look for the next 3... and I stock eight codestones for each normal type, so that's 10 T_T I also enjoy RS-ing UBs at the post office. What also helps, I've got three red beads which help a tiny bit with the pricing occasionally. Training, Maps and Luck: http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=nicholasy&misc

You want to switch to collectibles because you're tired of being sw banned? Collectibles is much much larger and you'll NEVER be done wizzing. If that's your concern, stick to training.

Auctions and the Trading Post are good for finding codestones, but not for collectibles, so you could always look into that :) Like Kimmie said, I think training is definitely easier to manage despite the lack of ability to find cheap codestones at times :P Plus, codestones are popular, so definitely more hits xD
