Restock advice for... books?
Hello all! Recently, I have taken up Rsing at books because I like the short haggles better :3 and I never seem to see profitable things in other shops ^ ^" I wonder if it is more profitable to stock the books worth a few hundred nps and price them at 1000, or RS my own books, or Rs a few books and then buy the same books (in bulk, like 3 copies each?) Say I only have a set amount of hours per day to do all of this. My shop is size 92 at the moment, I upgraded in a rush from something like 65. I have no idea how sales will go, and so I don't really know what to import into the Portal since now it's telling me I have missing stock? :3 Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hmm I've never had a book shop (although I do think that's my dream category since books are always profitable), but I think you should really approach it like any other shop and keep a minimum number of each low-priced book you can buy in stock (3 or 5). When you're restocking in the book shop, what do you mean you like the 'short haggles' better? Have you ever checked out any restocking guides? Normally things that stock with prices of 2500, 5000, or 10000 there are really good buys - but there are exceptions to every rule. I don't think you'll need to worry about sales as long as you keep some of them stocked right around shop wiz prices - make sure you check out the shop wiz for the page of results that your name would appear on, so you can be competitive in pricing. Others you can mark up to a mall sort of price, but since your shop is still relatively small, that probably shouldn't be too high! I'm not sure why the portal would tell you you're missing stock, unless you're not keeping the instock numbers correct when you restock...but perhaps someone else who knows more about it would be able to help you with that. Anyhow I'm babbling! :-) Good luck with your shop!
