This is normal pattern. Everyone gets 2 weeks off from school for winter break. Usually covers a span from just before Christmas to just after New Years. During the two weeks everyone is off the items are flying off the shelves and profits and prices are rising.
Afterwards we need to do a shop price check as the pricing starts dropping pretty rapidly. Take the new week or two to readjust your shop pricing to keep your customers coming in. If not your shop will be hugely out of range of pricing and your slow down will be painful.
Another time this comes into play is after the summer break. During early fall is another time to adjust your pricing to stay in line with the trend. This happens every year and is very normal as the amount of playing time people have and the amount of people drop drastically.
Would like to add during this time, keep advertising. That is key to getting your shop recognition. I watch every year the ads back off, this is a mistake and will only cut into your till even more.
