Restocking books - is it still worth it?
I used to really enjoy restocking books: I would just sit in the shop and buy almost everything I saw because most items were a profit. Now I've returned to Neopets after a break and I find it very hard to make a profit anymore! Many rare books seem to have deflated a lot (Tarla?). I can only make small profits of the most common books (I supposed the Water faerie asks for them a lot) and earn between 200 and 800 NP per book. Not much! I restock those in bulk but profits and sales, too, are slow. I have started to think about moving to a different shop to restock. I am used to Books, know many items and I enjoy the fact that I can actually but things when I get into the shop as I find refreshing pages all the time and waiting for something to pop up boring. Is there a shop with similar characteristics but that makes better profits? In the past I tried the pharmacy but found it very boring as you really just sit there and wait for certain items to pop up. So you spend most of your time refreshing instead of buying. The Bakery didn't go to well either, apparently you really need to know prices and items very well if you want to make a profit. Same is true for the plushie shop. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some advise!

Perhaps if you like books, then just do the water faerie quest ones, particularly if you have a small shop. or maybe just the booktastic ones. I think some book prices fell because they are given out by that petpetpark event or whatever its called.

My shop is a size 103. Water Faerie is really the only stuff I can still make a profit of, but it is not much at all. Usually less than 500 NP per item.

I looked what size shop before i mailed you on neo too. Try backgrounds maybe. Whatever you sell, if you are solo, it doesnt matter as you are not in a mall, just find something to specialise in that you like selling. It doesn't have to be what is known as a regular category Backgrounds are always popular, and good sellers

I have seen all sorts of shops on neo over the years. Some that sell all pink items, or all grey, or rainbow I would suggest whatever you sell though, that you advertise your shop on shop ads chat, and get it bookmarked, and maybe make your own nb ad for say page 2 or 3 or 30, it doesnt cost much there. Mind it doesnt cost that much for page 1 mostly these days either, not like it used to
