So, I was making a new DB to track more expensive items (not Shop items per say, but one where I was going to use the price to represent x1000 NP). I only entered a single item into it, saved it, and left it for later.
Upon trying to open that database, Portal would crash at 'Optimizing indices...' 0%, 1 of 2002 (at 25 per second). There is only 1 item in the database.
If I manually put another item in the data_shopstock and index_shopstock, it would open fine. If I remove the original entry, and leave the one that was manually added, the same error occurs.
Not the kind of error many people would ever come across I'm sure 0:-)

So, likely an index initialization type error.
I recreated the DB, and added 3 unique items, with a couple each in stock.
The Overall stats shows 'Unique Stock: 2/2' (with the other items being off as well, due to them being updated through the Submit Shop Front, so we can't count that part). But, obviously there are 3 items, so maybe there have a 0 vs. 1 array index problem there?

the total thing seems to act weird.. but at times it fixes itself.. Have to figure out what's causing it.
Version 10.1 will come out soon and it fixes some glitches experienced by some users. However, probably wont fix everything
EDIT: version 10.1 is released and fixes a few bugs. Stability for windows vista is increased too

When I run the Update1.exe, it extracts, runs and opens the DB fine, displays it's version 10.1, but then when I close it, the Exe deletes itself.
I got around it by copying the exe out of the directory while it was running, and copying it back in after it deleted, and it stays just fine.

Is there a changelog for this version?
The first thing I tested out was to see if setting stock to -1 to hide it still reduces the "Value: (Actual)". Unfortunately it does :( So, wondering what changes are in there :)

Yea, it was weird, it's the Update1.exe unzipping that does the deleting, since it hangs and does't respond while Portal is open, likely because it's trying to delete the in use file.
