lol I love when people buy like 20-50 items. Its niiiice! I start to panic when I have like 400 items missing. I keep thinking that people are visiting and they are mad b/c I don't have what they are looking for LOL.. Wow I'm pathetic....

Sometimes it's just a matter of luck and timing. I was on the shop boards this week and someone was searching for stamp. He buy for more than 100k just because I post my shop on his thread.

[quote=texas_girl_95]Congratulations on the big sales. That is that love/hate thing. They appreciated my business, so I was able to get a lot of them lower prices and add certain items to their stock if I agreed to use them as a supplier. It really helped to speed up RSing times a lot. ________________________________ Are you feeling lucky? Click Here!

About once every 10 days someone (different user every time so far) buys 40 -50 items at once and that's just what shows up on sales history. (I still have some items under 1K.) This happened twice already this month. 89 items were out of stock from two users that I could track. I was thrilled but I too broke out in a little bit of a cold sweat trying to quickly restock. I have doubled all stock in my SDB so everything is just cut and paste from sales history to SDB to restock. forcefedup -- I'm so sorry you were frozen and admire that you still play! I don't know if I could do that. I found out recently these supply shops are called bulk stockers and many mall shops use shops like this! They agree what the smaller shop (100+) will sell and that shop stocks those items 5-10 qty and the mallers go and buy buy buy! This saves time and nps because the bulk stockers only mark up their items 200 or so above cost. I have given serious consideration to doing this until I upgrade my shop to mall size. ~ Mimi _____________________________________________________ Mimi's Ménagerie: Healthy Tastes Good Here! http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=temps_bons

Lemme tell you, never make enemies of someone who steals all your graphics and shop ideas and then tries to compete with your shop. You will always lose if you are the better shop, even if they DID steal from you. -bittermumbling- I would do this, but I don't think I could keep my sanity if I wasn't making huge profits and constantly advertising my store. I'm only size 30, and I treat my store as if it were a mall store. It's really the only way I know. ________________________________ Are you feeling lucky? Click Here!

I have a love/hate relationship when someone wipes out half of my stock. I feel like it took me forever to restock. So I complain. Then my kids always come back saying, "Isn't that why you have a shop". I laugh and go back to restocking.
