Hi guys,
I recently started using Neomallers Portal 10 and am finding it really useful. I watched the tutorials about 4 times and I think I have everything covered now.
The only thing I need help with is pricing. I have done a bit of research on how Mallers price and that each person prices differently.
What I am looking for is "Sell Price Markup". Is this a percentage or does it just whack (for example) 400np on top of everything if I set at at 400?
I have messed around with it a bit and it seems to price things differently. Is this normal?
Thanks for the help guys.
Jen

Hello! Glad you find the portal useful! The markup is actually a multiplier so yes you could use it as a percentage. By default, I believe it's set to something like 2.5x so an item costing 100 np would suggest that you price them at 250 np in your shop. You can get percentages working by using 1.5 (for 50% markup) and such. Because items are vary different (i.e. you technically shouldnt mark up something that costs 50k by 2x), i find it easier to do the price calculation in my head as opposed to using that function

i love the portal, i used it all the time but in recent days i've found it kinda pointless to have as it's not doing what it once did.... i would submit shop front, it would give me some sort of error and shut down the program.... i've tried to uninstall it and re-install but that's not seeming to help....
any advice??

Hi! Google chrome has changed how they handle webpages and image tags so it is no longer working anymore. This was corrected in Portal x2 (the web version of it) but it appears they changed it again so i would need to look into it.

For the time being, you can get around this problem under both portals by using firefox or Safari. I will be looking into posting an update once I am done in my thesis (a few days)

finally managed to install the 16 year programming environment into windows 8! so here goes nothing!

Edit: here's a patch. Can you confirm that it is working? be sure to backup all your data too! I only tested this a few times so it could explode. Just download and run from wherever the Portal is installed.
