I hate my stupid, noobish mall.
I'm not going to say the name of it, but my mall is one of those stupid Branch Malls that was my only option because I'm only size 35 (rebuilding). I USED to be in The Nursery, but nooooo stupid getting frozen and blahblah and I lost my spot. :K Anyway, my mall is terribly unorganized with no decent members (maybe one), but NOBODY UPDATES THE DAMN BANNER! Therfore, NOBODY LINKS TO MY SHOP! And I've been waiting a week. Argh! I'd love to leave, but there's absolutely nothing else out there for a small shop size like my own! I want to smash my head into the wall. Does anyone know any small malls with a Maps & Scratchcards position open? Or, do you think I should just not join anything til I'm a Marketplace again?

It's hard to find a good mall with such a small size shop. Keep working at it and you'll be market size again in no time! Keep it up!!

Being in a mall at that size really isn't worth it at all imo, i'd wait until you get to a market size again

You don't have to wait until you're marketplace, but I'd wait til you're at least size 100. You'll be able to find a better mall once you're over size 100. Just keep at it. Get out on the boards and advertise your shop. You'll be back where you were in no time :P Good Luck with your shop :)

Even size 100+. But I find it hard to find malls for smaller size malls. Have you checked the Preschool or Babies Mall? (Branch of the Nursery). They have great management and members if you really do want a mall right now. If you stay independent for the time being you can restock whatever you want, that's a plus, and can make it better than being in a mall. I don't think being in a small mall increases your sales that much more than if you were without the mall. [edit] I didn't see Jersey's post before this, but yes, 100+ is a good size to start looking for a mall, IMO.

Size 100 is a good place to start for malls. If you want to neomail me I can see if I got maps open in one of our smaller malls I am not sure at this moment. I know those I manage are full in maps

I think I will leave, and possibly sell out of my painfully non-selling maps and try out Training. Is training a good money-maker for a small shop? ________________________________ Are you feeling lucky? Click Here!

But otherwise with training, unless you spike the price, you're only getting like 100-500nps profit per item sold. I'm in training, and I know that most of my nps don't come from training. I do find the red codestones to be a good profit though =D. Also codestones are on the rise in price at the point in time. I've be tracking the rise of each codestone with great interest =p

That way you can't limit yourself too much on what to sell and instead sell many more variety of items for customers to choose from. Once you reach a shop size of at least 200 then you can join a mall again and start prioritizing a category. You're in for a surprise. Scratchcards has always been my biggest money-maker, but I'm looking to branch out. ________________________________ Are you feeling lucky? Click Here!
