I restock while watching movies. It's a pretty mindless job and I can get two things done at once *lol*

I love restocking. I usually do it twice a day. I restock from my SDB and I keep track of all my selling prices separately, so it doesn't take me more than an hour. If I'm restocking from the shop wiz and the Neopian shops at the same time, it takes me hours. I usuallyy reserve my weekends for massive Neopian shop restocking. Then I throw everything in my SDB and during the week, my restock time is quicker. Sales were really slow today. I was getting antsy, not being able to restock.

I love restocking too but I just put some codestones in my shop and they are all gone and there are currently 10 people in my shop. That little widget that tells me how many people are shopping at one time is my favorite! ~ Mimi
What widget?!?! I want one of those! :D ________________________________ Are you feeling lucky? Click Here!
There is a whole discussion about this thingy on Drumming Up a Little More Business -- Questions:

Thank you for mentioning the little counter you have in your shop that tells you how many people are in your shop at any one time! That is a nifty little gadget, had to get myself one :D
Where did you get it?
These codes should not be specific to any user because it doesn't keep track of anything (it doesn't remember anything like a counter) -- it just tells who's looking at/has your site open. So, you can use my code and get a black one with a pink icon on it (see my shop): -- replace [] with <> Or you can go to http://whos.amung.us/colorwheel/ and choose your own color(s). When you make it, just use the code I have above and change the part after /cwidget/ -- Otherwise the Neopets filters will block it. Hope that helps everyone's sales!! Let me know if you notice a difference in sales after you install it.

Keep in mind that the counter also tracks people who are in the marketplace and havent yet clicked into your shop. And i doubt it'll help your sales but rather give you some additional stats :P

Is the marketplace considered part of your shop --- I guess this makes sense because your coding shows up there but not your stock... can you explain the connection between the two? So theoretically, if all the users on a marketplace page had this widget they'd all have a count at the same time? ~ Mimi (Please read my Guest Book: Requesting Guide Help) _____________________________________________________ Mimi's Ménagerie: Healthy Tastes Good Here! http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=temps_bons

your counter is visible in the marketplace thus, it counts it as a pageload. For the neomallers counters, i had to add a code that if the user is in the marketplace, the counter will ignore such visits until they enter your shop via browsehop.phtml?owner=username

I restock every few days, but definitely on Thursdays before the weekend. It takes me an hour each time, but I'm usually watching TV, so that helps. :)
