From this week's Editorial in the Times: Hey TNT, all joking aside you do a great job here for us. My question is, would it be possible to add an auto pricer for our shops, so it would be faster and easier for us? Thank you for your busy time. ~tumblebug195 We're worried that would cause a sudden drop in profits for everyone. For example, let's say that the autopricer made your shop prices 1 NP less than everyone else's -- theoretically yours would sell first, but if everyone was constantly autopricing, the value of items would drop since everyone could easily beat the price of their competitors with a click. We think pricing items manually makes the Neopian economy more dynamic and interesting.
Yay! See, TNT likes that we can price our items ourselves. "More dynamic and interesting" indeed.
I don't want an autopricer that lowers my items... but I would like to be able to state how much I want to sell each item, hit quickstock and not go through and copy all my prices in.. that would be cool..
That would be no help to me, I price everything different every time lol
I generally do too *lol* It depends on what I purchased it for and the inflation/deflation across the SSW. However, I know a lot of shops that have set prices so maybe that would be beneficial to them..

I'd have to say that I agree only to the extinct of where it gets to the point where some long time neopets players are purposefully trying to rip newbies off and I don't think that is very fair, but than again to each their own and you are all 100% right it is just a game!!!

I like to not think of it as ripping off. I like to think of it as I'm doing people a favor by having such a vast selection and I'd like to not spend all day stocking almost 4000 items each day, so I bump up the price just a little bit to make it worth my while spending my time doing it. In reality, I spend a good amount of time each week stocking my shop. It's a trade off for time spent stocking for points.
