If a maller doesn't update their banner within 7 days, and 3 neomail reminders, I remove them from the mall. With NB payments, 3 late payments are grounds for dismissal in my opinion. I'm a fan of 3 strikes and you're out, lol. I would send them a final warning telling them they will be removed from the mall if they don't comply/contact you back.

send the mail, and then kick them out after 5 days or so. But for something like updating mall banners (especially if they are last seen under one day ago), the 3-strikes need not apply.

I dont run a formal "Mall" but I did put together a "shop group" that has a sort of banner.
I always give them about 7 days and neomail them a reminder....once that got me a nasty neomail back from a member, telling me: "I WAS GONE ALL WEEK! I HAVE A LIFE AND DONT HAVE TIME TO BE ON NEOPETS ALL DAY! I QUIT YOUR MALL!"

If they've been online I think I would send an email giving them an opportunity to get out gracefully. Who knows what they're really going through & if they don't want to be in the mall them this would help them to leave. If you still don't get a reply I'd say 5-7 days later it's time for the boot.
What is your thoughts about "Last seen.... days ago?" How many days is too many without notice of vacation?

Yea, one time I had removed someone from a rinky-dink mall I had before I knew anything about malling and their status said 'Last seen-under one day ago' every day. Finally I heard back from them and they told me they had neo as their home page but were grounded from using it for a week or something. So, in some cases there might be a good reason, but still don't let people walk all over you and the mall. Good luck!

Many malls set a limit of 5 days. If my members are going to be gone longer than 5 days then I want to know about it. If they are gone longer than that without notification AND I actually needed them to be online, code update or whatever. Then I watch the member very closely from then on. We once had a battle shop who would disappear for 14 days at a time without word. Boy did he get moody when I booted him, made a board in bd chat slandering our mall *lol*
