Isn't it annoying when people post false boards in Shop Ads just to bump up their counter? I mean, if you are going to try to bump up your shop counter by holding a 1 np sale at least host the sale. I get average of 300 hits a day and even though its not beyond 800, I still get the same profit as I do get those 800 hits and above. Hm, I`m curious who you`ve named though. Are you sure they didn't have a sale? Perhaps the items just sold fast. There are users who will see a board like that and just lurk in that person's shop forever waiting to pounce on those 1Np items.

I am positive. I actually was on that board/shop for awhile and the person said they would list the time once 10 people showed. More and more people showed and 15 minutes later and still no word from the user other than that first post. I even neomailed the person to give them the benefit of the doubt and they refused to answer. Later I saw that a board monitor had shut it down.

That is (posting a fake sale like that) the saddest ego trip ever. You don't even benefit! That said I'm equally annoyed by people who complain about items sold in 1np sale. Beggars can't be choosers!

I agree completely, if you're going to advertise one, you need to do one *lol* I've went to many of those myself only to find nothing, or to find nothing but dung, literally LOL

Most likely they won't be around much longer. In my opinion that would give your shop counter false numbers & how can you see what you really did? I've done a few sales and to see how many hits come from it, I just have my counter open in another window...and keep a track of hits before and after. But of course that only works if you have a time limit on your sales (which I always do). So far I've only had a couple of non-sale items sell during sales, but my traffic does seem to be generally increasing since I've been doing them. Perhaps some people bookmark and return. Not sure.
