Well it appears that after going to my lookup, he sees the real thing and his browser caches it so he continues to see the real thing on his own lookup. However, anyone else who goes to his lookup will see the changed images.
There was also a little bug that if someone went to his lookup first and then proceeded to go to mine, mine would also show the changed images since the browser remembers it from his lookup and caches it. I think i managed to fix that though

That's how it's supposed to work. He's still trying to copy the stuff on my mall petpage but now it's a trick i bet ;)

Yup exactly. But pressing CTRL+R will force a refresh and show the changed image. It's also the reason why he's not taking it down since he thinks he sees the real thing
As for the petpage, non-xmart would be unable to select the coding that is on there
