Wanting to start 4m NB Advert - need buttons advice / graphics critism

There will be 13 buttons (yes, 13 is a weird number). So far I have 1 - Home/Garden (taken) 2 - Books/School 3 - Food/Drinks 4 - Collectables 5 - Training/Bottled Faeries 6 - Wearables/Backgrounds (taken) 7 - Petpets/Supplies 8 - Toys and Plushies (taken) 9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - What are some other relatively easy to fill categories? And do you think any of the categories already spoken for will be hell on wheels? Aaaaand what is a good day to post (not Friday or Saturday, I am pretty much unavailable on the weekends - unless someone I know I can trust wants to take on the posting, that is) Also, since it is going to be the "optional" nb advert for me and joshiesmommy's mall, I clearly need the name to be Shenkuu themed. Shops of Shenkuu Heights? Shop at Shenkuu Market? Something I haven't thought about yet? The banner (thus far) is attached. I'll reupload as it gets edited.

Nah can't be. :P The reason why I say backgrounds would not do as good is because the wearable spot would steal most of the hits. Most likely the wearable store would have backgrounds in it as well. It is the same thing as the food/drinks and bakery/sweets situation. The food/drinks steals most of the hits. But of course the bakery/sweets would do better than backgrounds since it can stock more of a variety of items. Perhaps with more backgrounds being released, the spot will get better in the future.[/quote] Again it's tough to say, I link to the backgrounds person, all over the place in my shop, and I DON'T sell backgrounds, so even if people come in my shop via the ad many still find their way to the backgrounds store. Because of our setup there is no way I can know how another shop would do, but that is beside the point. It's all about willing people to fill spots and backgrounds would be super easy to fill.

I -may- have to redo the banner altogether. :| 13 buttons means approx 317 per button. Now, if I do 350 for the Wearables button (which is mine) that takes all of the other ones down to 304-ish, which I do think is still too much, particularly for buttons like Collectables. What buttons, other than Wearables, can be expected to do real well on an advert? Is there one or two others that can be taken up to 350k, or even 325k reasonably? Because I do want to be able to charge less for some of the less popular categories.

I think neohome and paint are both fine at over 300k, i'm not sure about any others though

I only know of one 4 MIL Banner that edits their banner based upon who has paid. This banner gets posted every week and I think this is why. Since you are making the banner and posting it I think this would help you. I know it drives me crazy when I pay for an ad that takes two weeks to get filled and therefore posted. Just a thought. It would be good to have a standard ad though and try to get permanent fillers but let's say one didn't pay...it would be nice to know you can put whatever category on there you need for that week, right? Also, how are you going to deal with the odd number of spots with regard to payment? Right now 4 MIL / 13 = 307,692.3076 NPs Are you going to charge different prices for buttons? I think this would be a great idea since some categories cannot make the 200 - 300+K it takes to be on an ad. Also, if the button is on top shouldn't it cost more than if it's on the bottom? I have seen people talk about button locations and how it makes a difference.
