[center] When I got froze (when someone was on my accoun) they froze each username (including sides, and family usernames), so I contacted them, told my story, gave them proof of the account(s) and a couple of days later I was able to play again.. You should change your password every 2 days or something, it will really help keep your account security tight, change your pins also, even change e-mail accounts passwords that are not affiliated with neopets because sometimes they can get into those also... Now what idiot would like to go on another person's account for items/neopoints, if they are so good at what they do, why not target the bank/paypal accounts on the internet? Security is a joke on neopets compared to banks.

Dont get in too big of a hurry, when i got cg'ed last June it took 2 weeks for them to get my account back to me. Granted, it was a little more in depth as it involved a targeting plot on a fellow maller that we had to sort out. Luckily everybody got their accounts back (dogfriend2, me, dmitri, and one other can't remember who) but Dmitri had most of the items on his account as they were trying to make it look like he did everything. Anyway, I lost about 14 million pure but that's about it besides the inconvenience of the downtime. Oh, and I lost my Faerie Kadoatie... that's the only part that I really missed. :( It does sadden me that you got hacked, and it saddens me even more that neopets has not fixed this problem. Dmitri has since gotten me setup on some "Safety Equipment" for better protection from Cookie Grabbers. You might talk to him and make sure you have all this stuff running. I use FF and have No Script, so Flash Blocker, and a keylog encrypter running. Have not had a problem since.

I'm so very sorry this happened to you :( I had my acct frozen for my protection once, and had it returned to me 6 days later, after filling in the premium reports and sending an email to Charlotte. Best of luck!!!

I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I logged into my empty account a little over 2 weeks ago. Logged in on saturday to send a nm, all was well so left for the day. Came back the next morning to find my bank empty, shop till gone, stocks sold, weapons unequipped and gone, nc spent, and they had used the 37 or so gift boxes in my sdb to send my nc items to various people. I filled in a premi report form, reported my post about my account being compromised, and emailed Charlotte. 36 hours later my account and side were frozen. Another 24 hours later, I had my accounts back, my nc items and boxes back but an otherwise empty account (aside from my pets and the items they had left in my shop and sdb) Still have no clue how it was done as they manually put in my password to use my nc and my pin all over the place, and I hadnt really been on neo much for the few weeks prior.... I hope you are all able to get your accounts back :(

I know I have had my account frozen 10 months ago because I started a 4M advertisement and they detected neopoints being sent to me but it was all good and they apologized and returned my account after. Anyways, my account wasn't as good as it is now and you guys' accounts are probably better than mine so I don't even know why I compared that to your experience. I will truly not know what you're going through (no one will) but yourself. All I can say is hang in there and things will eventually get better.
