can you delete old topics that no longer serve a purpose any longer ?

i have topics from over a year ago that are for things that were over and done with long ago. they just don,t serve a purpose any longer. is there a way to delete them from the site? i looked and couldn,t find any, so i thought i,d see if anyone else knew. thanks!

Define "old and done with" Anyways it's too much work :P Topics: 2753, Posts: 48057, Users: 7252 Eventually, we'll end up deleting topics that people still need and these old topics are good search engine stuff. the posts i was talking about was some i posted both last year and lately for a filler for a christmas NB Ad and a monday ad i do. i have several topics posted looking for fillers for ads that have already been posted and don,t have a use any longer. they are not really useful for Q&A eather. they were more or less a 1 use topic. but thanks for the info. ziggy
