"That reminds me, I have changed the "Clothing & Grooming" shop to "Wearables" because the existing shop owner of that category wanted it to be changed. Is this alright with you? Her account is currently frozen but hopefully she'll eventually get unfrozen." lol, and here the whole reason I had opted to take the "Backgrounds" button instead of the "Clothing and Grooming" button is that no "Wearables" button existed.

LOL. I didn't quite get your few replies and that is why I mentioned the change. I can probably change it since her account is still frozen. We'll deal with it after her account is unfrozen. +) So to be sure, you want the "Wearables" category to be changed back to "Clothing & Grooming" category? You're in for a surprise. I think when you split categories it would be catered towards the smaller shops. In the malls I've managed the smaller the mall the more categories we had. Like when we had RIM&F shop size minimum 125 we had 3 categories for Food. Candy/Baked, Foods and Drinks. Once you moved up to Oasis shop size 280 it went to 2 categories Food & Candy/Baked & the drinks was pretty much a choice of who wanted what. Then in Land of Roo shop size 390 you got all the Foods but you still had 2 buttons on the banner. I know you were talking ads I just had to throw that out there to maybe clear things up? No, lol. I wouldn't wish "clothing and grooming" on anybody as a button. My order of preference is always "wearables" first and "backgrounds" second. If she's still frozen next time the advert goes up I'll take on the wearables button until she returns (instead of the backgrounds button, not in addition to. it'd be insane to do/pay for two buttons).

I believe clothing/grooming together might be okay as a button. As more and more shops go to wearables only there is less competition for the category so each shop has a bit more of a niche but I think it would probably be a complete nightmare to try and find anyone who would take a grooming only spot.

I get so confused sometimes. LOL. I only have the "Clothing & Grooming" category because the shop owner who has it, likes that category name. I don't really care what they call it as long as it is in their favor and no one else have that name. Currently, someone else is filling the "Wearables" category. I did not know that you prefer "Wearables" than "Backgrounds" so I didn't ask. Thank you for letting me know now and I'll let you know whenever an open spot for that category arises. Thanks for your comments so far :) Any other comments? About having 6 faerie buttons on the ad or scrap them and allow for more room for regular buttons? Or about having as many buttons as possible to reduce costs? Or prefer that there are less categories, higher price, but you get a bigger button?

When you first made the ad, I didn't like that the faerie buttons were separate, but I've been paying for two buttons all this time anyway because I didn't want to have to compete with whoever got the fire faerie button. So, I like that you are making them cheaper soon. Maybe see if they are easier to sell when they're cheaper? Or, you can sell the faerie buttons automatically to whoever has the overall category, and make those button a little more expensive than ones without a quest attached, so the faerie buttons won't go unsold unless their overall category is not taken as well. I think that's the more old-fashioned way to do it though :P But I guess that would be a problem for wearables, clothes, etc., the way some malls are breaking it down, and possibly other categories too that are no longer following the popular category groupings. Sorry if this makes no sense, it's early :P

Hmm, yea... selling a Faerie+button together is a possibility. I dont want to change the prices again anytime soon tho :P And then if I put them together, it might be *really* hard to fill the Cards/Stamps/light and Magic/Meds/Earth spots :P I think I prefer having them seperated, perhaps the new prices will help fill them. Im getting a bit annoyed with all the people coming and going from the ads lately though. I suppose it can mostly be due to the fast that theres alot of other 4mil ads that sprung up, plus a lot of people changing malls/categories, etc. If the ads dont settle down again soonish, I might go back to 2 ads and to try to make them more stable. Im just getting a bit annoyed of people dropping out the day of and needing to find last minute fillers, etc :K Hopefully it settles down tho :) And if I can stop bugging my graphics guy about category changes, I can get him to update the white and blue one, and get new banners, whoo =)

making it so that people have to pay extra for the faerie buttons hits the clothing/grooming/wearables people the hardest. I know one advert I did I ended up feeling obligated to buy into the air and fire faerie buttons since nobody would take them - and I ended up paying 481k in total for that advert...which is really disgusting. so I'm sure you can see how/why people would be opposed to the idea of having the faerie buttons on the advert.
