Opinion on categorie change
I'm currently stocking collectables but i'm not really likeing the profit and its alot of work. Theres so many things to stock too. and to be really successful you need a huge shop to stock all the collectables and i just dont have the np to spend on upgradeing to a great size lol But, i'm thinking about changeing to Neggs/maps. think it would be a good change? or would hurt me? opinions and help would be greatly appreciated. thanks :)

If you aren't wanting to spend a lot of money, then neggs and maps aren't a very good choice as both are pricey and you are going to have to snipe them from the wizard to make a profit from them. You aren't that likely to find a lot of good snipes either. Considering shop size you need to have most of your stock priced at market as well, so your profit margin would likely be really low on them. I would say the biggest problem with your shop is it isn't very interesting to look at with the first page being all cards. Pick a theme that is eye catching to bring in more sales. Even in your current niche there are plenty of collectors items that are more interesting then cards. Stamps are fun to look at but you have few and they are on second page. Since there is a stamp shop you also have a better chance of restocking things at a decent profit as well as using the wizard to find bargains. Any themed items will sell though if you have them priced competitively. It is whether you want to take the time to find the items to stock your shop at the best prices to pull in customers and still make a profit.

thanks, i mean i do snipe alot.. i'm good at it, esp off the auctions. i'm always a last second stealer lol. I have been gathering some neggs and codestones and map peices that i've been snipeing to start me off and once i clear out my shop i'll have about 2 mil in total from bank and shop till to keep snipeing and hopefully get some RE lol thanks for your input. I dont mind how pricey it is, i'll just start off small and work my way up. and i'll price competively, the only reason i dont really now for collectables is because theres so many of them, and yea i wish the stamps could be on the first page lol, the collectable cards are boring to look at but they come up first. but are you suggesting that i only stock stamps instead of cards and coins and shells?

If you like sniping and you don't mind how long it takes to build your stock then the pricier items like neggs and map pieces can generate some good income. As for your current stock, unless you are stocking the cards for faerie quests I wouldn't bother with them. Faerie quest items will always sell well as you will have mallers like me buying them, but I wouldn't bother trying to stock them all, there are just too many of them and they are ugly. Just stock from quest list. This is what I do with toys. The quest toys sell really well but few of the other toys do. Now plushies are a different story as I often get collectors coming in and buying up 10 at a time in one color or another. On quest items, you will have to sell them at market if you want to target mallers (questers can't search so the mallers would be your target market). Other collectables could work like my plushies. I have the expensive ones priced at market which gets people in my shop who will often buy my other plushies that aren't market priced.
