I just thought of something that I think would be cool! Could you make the "Sell Price" copy-able like the clipboard feature? So you click the price to copy it? That would make things easier for me I think :D -------------------- Want to be part of a 4 Mil NB ad? Go Here: http://www.neopets.com/~Lideus Are your pets hungry? I'm still thinking since it's definitely going to conflict with the copy name to clipboard and putting both on the interface would make things cluttered and clutter = people thinking they need a PhD to navigate through it

I wasn't thinking that to have two copy options on the same interface would be conflicting.. there you go Dmitri one step ahead :P
Someone suggested that on the old forums but unfortunately, that's not really possible since restocking your shop would add to the number of items in stock but the portal would not know about these "extra" items and would indicate that such items are "gone" even though you have them in stock. Hope you see what I'm getting at :P
Hey Dmitri, here's an idea of a solution for the above mentioned problem. Imagine pasting your sales history, the portal recognizes the items and presents a list of them, meanwhile it subtracts all items sold (ie in the pasted sales history) from the database. Now, in said list, which can be accessed at any time, the number of each items sold and quick links to SW/SSW are included, as well as a checkbox of each item. Checking this box shows that you have bought the displayed number of that said item and stocked it. An update button would then update the list by removing all the ticked items as well as adding them to the database, while all unticked items stays as they are. It makes sense in my head...could it work? :P Feel free to harass me on msn, thanks!

Creating a checkbox out of nowhere is abit difficult though since it doesnt really work like php/mysql where such things can be dynamically generated on the fly. (Maybe there is a piece of code that will do that in VB but at the current moment I'm unaware of it) the other issue is user friendlyness. More buttons means more chances of people freaking out. trust me, even with the current system, so many people have asked me really really simple questions (like where the menu bar is, etc) - basically what happens is, they look at the interface and then a shut down in the brain occurs =/ What's really simple becomes extremely hard since people no longer try to understand and shut everything out. The solution? Make the interface as simple as possible but still provide the features (which is why it's taking absolutely forever to release this version)

Wish I knew a thing or two about VB so I could help you out, but sadly I struggled through my one uni course in Java, haha :P Do you think it *would* be possible though? Or something similar to it? If the actual checkbox is the problem, maybe a textbox for input of the number of items bought would work better? And as for the user-friendlyness... I'm sure you can come up with something Dimmy-boy :*

Lazy? Pfft! :* I just don't feel like copying and pasting 11 pages everytime I'm about to stock, and I believe many furniture/food shops would agree with me 0:-) So yeah, using the sales history would make it so much easier. Oh and by the way Dmitri, the new version looks great. Excellent work :)

Silverdragon's suggestion is actually a good idea if it's possible lol -- Updating stock by means of Sales History :P _______________________________________________ Bugsy's GUIDE to Effective SHOPKEEPING and MALLING: Version 3: Learn More About Hut Positioning Edition http://www.neopets.com/~bugsy_lenny
