I'm sure I give myself at least 3-4 hits a day, from 2 different machines (home and at work). I probably give everyone in my Branch of the mall 1-2 hits a day, since I actually check shop fronts, etc, on a regular basis. It would be easy to add many hits by changing IPs, scripting the 1000 or so machines at work to hit the shop (can you see a shop front if you aren't logged in? Probably not, never tried). Then again I just stealthed my shop recently, so the only people who would see inflated shop counts would be my own mall anyway *lol*

i could care less about those small hits or even "1np sales" it becomes a problem when the cheating (disabling stuff, proxy,etc) becomes a tool to scam users into one's mall. in other words, we dont tolerate the faking of hits in an attempt to make recruitment easier for example. this anti cheat thing has been in place for a while though but after the 3rd patch, figured a warning would be best since the next update consumes too much server resources. it's not fair for users who genuinely try to make their shop popular. we're not dumb like tnt (A) just saying haha. so please play fair we ----------------------------- [color=purple]Contrary to popular belief, the Irish and I are not married[/color]

I update the mall stats page so I check the shop fronts for the counter or enter through there to get to their user look-up. I'm not after more hits, just doing a mall task. That alert seems to be too sensitive.

Then again, I recruit for a branch with a minimum size of 100, I don't think people are too concerned with shop hits while looking for malls at that point, most shops of that size wouldn't know TO look at that! As manager of the Lost Desert Mall, I check the shops in my branch at least once a day. I also check my own shop a few times a day (To check my stock. Not for extra hits) and I got a warning too:). Laila

Same here.. I check some 40 odd shops on a reasonably regular basis and my own shop.. when it is not frozen quite a few times a day as I am always adjusting my prices etc. I thought that there was only one hit count per person in a given time frame.. whatever that time is I would not have any idea. I have noticed that even if the shop is visited by the same user in whatever that time frame is that it does not count towards another shop visit... my biggest ever count of people coming to my shop was when i sold like 500 non-junk items at 1np. for two days straight. I got 700 on the next day though but i only gave myself like 3-5 counts to check.
