Getting Pushed Around...Advice?

Hey, I recent got into the Island Market and was hoping to get some tips from the wonderful folks here on how to not get constantly pushed out of the hut I upgrade to (I've been pushed to the top half of other huts in the past ><). How does one combat this? It's a slow process to be pushed down...

island/spooky are terrible in the fact that alot of main marketers use it to coordinate huts in the main marketplace

Yes, you're all generally reading it wrong. I find I am pushed up into the next hut, sometimes into the middle. This is more or less the worst as you find yourself stuck under 5 banners with a number of others that have to be pushed back down into your hut before. So as far as I understand it, there's really nothing I can do except succumb to the whims of main marketers?

basically, or upgrade to like size 1000+ (which is what I did, but even then)

Yeah I've seen that those two markets are constantly fighting and pushing around.. Also as a side note: I read somewhere that you shouldn't upgrade to main until you have the nps to upgrade past the first few huts. The thinking being that those people in the bottom huts of main are always constantly battling with each other over position and it's just really rocky. Is this sound advice? Or should one get to main and then upgrade as necessary, and just expected to be pushed around in there as well?

That's actually pretty good advice. The first few huts are crazy so you probably should wait until you get to size 630 or something
