Advice and tips on grooming/wearable shop?
I'm in the Beach Babies Mall, and I fill the grooming, wearables, clothes, Air & Fire Faerie quest position. Any advice from any other grooming/wearable maller? I really want my items to sell faster.

at your shop size you really need to watch what you carry. if I were you I would dump all of the non-wearable items OTHER THAN the ones needed for faerie quests. I see you don't currently have all of the faerie quest items in stock - not cool. If that is your category you need to have them. other than that, try and change your pricing structure a bit. when every single background in your shop is priced at the exact same price it becomes plainly obvious to even a newbie that you aren't charging at wiz prices. speaking of wiz prices...at your shop size the wiz is how people find you. you need to carry some things at low wiz prices. if you do have the SSW buy the cheapest from there, then go to the regular wiz and search for the same item and refresh until you find the wiz page that you would be on, make your shop cheapest or second cheapest on that. my shop is in main market and I -still- put a fair amount of my stuff at low wiz (which usually works out to high ssw for me)

I agree with demirep77 I'm not main market yet but I am the smallest of the shops in my mall group and half of my hits come from the shop wiz if you need help with what items to carry Jelly Neo has a great Item database also quest items can be found here: http://www.neopets.com/~Quest_Items

also, i'd advise stocking up the cheap quest items in your sdb. they can go pretty quickly sometimes and it's nice to be able to stock from your sdb now and then (and since so many of them are less than 100-200 np, it doesn't take many nps to stock up).

I used to do this category (The Grooming/Clothing part) and it was fun. Stock all the Faerie Quets items as someone already mentioned. More vareity in general would help you out. The stock is fairly cheap so if you aren't making that much just play games and you can get a good many new items. Also your prices need some readjusting

Thank you everybody for your advice. I do need to get more faerie quest items, I realize that, I just didn't know what they were. Thank you melis for that link, I'm sure it will help out greatly. And I do need to get my prices restructured. Thanks again everybody for helping me out.

I've been doing grooming/clothing for a while. I try to keep all the quest stuff in stock and then try to keep as much other in as I can. I go through neoitems.net to list all the grooming items. I've had a harder time with the clothing items, the regular ones are ok but the wearables are difficult, I usually get the kinda lame ones. I do most of my restocking on 1/2 day and I reinvest at least 300,000np each month. Whatver NP I don't use to buy product I upgrade my shop with.

Try rs-ing on regular days too. Clothes is where I learned to RS and it seems really daunting at first but once you get over the hump of haggles & learning what's profitable I'm sure you will start making a really decent amount.

I agree about restocking in the clothing shop as you get more familiar with the shop the easier it is to spot the more profitable items at first i just started for the quest items they usually restock in multiples and have a great profit (black belt can be bought for about 1500 and sold for 10k)
