If we want to limit the number of mini malls posting can we maybe flag that forum where they need a required number of posts before they are allowed to post a new thread or have a waiting period after creating an account before they can create a post there or would that have to be a site wide restriction? Of course requiring a certain number of posts will just have them spamming in other forums to get their post count up.

It's just so basic, everything has to be manually coded in (the report thing, the little blue bar that splits the posts. Stealth, etc etc) I've seen other forums do some kind of a welcome thing but yeah, for the time being, I think using common sense is best. If people start bumping like hell (i.e. bumping every 10 mins, 1hr, etc) , then board gets locked with a mod notice on first post. I'm not too keen on non-market malls (i said non market, not non-main by the way) on flooding these forums however - Seems make the professionalism melt away

~ May ~ I'm proud to say the mini mall I manage is an exception As you can see I'm not even posting here anymore haha We have a couple open positiong (4 I think?) but no one cares, not even me, since they're not big deals... People are having great sales, upgrading and working on their own without me pushing their butts to do so and I'm on another mall, cause I didn't create a mall cause I wanted to "be the boss" but cause I thought it could be nice and my guild could use one... And I'm on a mall adequate to MY shop size (much above the minimum 70 of my mall, my shop is 337 now) Anyone disagree? :)

Aw thanks for the compliments, you guys are sweet :* Dunno WHY I went up to 3 ads, but they run pretty well, so I keep them :P I dont find mini malls a complete waste of time, I loved being in ones before I was main, might as well get that extra exposure right? Plus if you have some larger shops in the mall, they might bring extra hits, or having some of your malls be in 4m ads brings you extra hits. Plus having friends and motivation (depending if your mall has upgrading requirements and such), so I found it a really great thing to be in while I was growing :) But yea, super spam on the forums is annoying when most of them die off fast :P
