No - its just going to raise. Remember stamp albums - once its used it can't be taken out and people still collect them.
Now it might come down a bit, but it won't go back to the price it was and after a few years its going to skyrocket.

People have tried with other retired stamps such as Seasonal Stamp, Year 5 Stamp, Seasonal Evil Coconut and a few others and they are now the same as when the inflators hit them and these have been retired for quite some time.. This was a common little stamp and the price will certainly not stay at 90k+.. I would be surprised to see it over the 30k.
I just sold off 16 of them and I will sit and wait now.

I had one stamp in the sdb, bought another one for 93k.
One can go to my album if needed and can sell the other later.
I'm sure it'll drop down quite a bit after people are done hoarding them but I forget about these things so its best to keep an extra one just in case :P

I have 3 extras so I guess I'll sell 2 at 99k, but I'm going to keep one just in case it does go back up. I'm not sure how long the other stamps have been retired but I tend to hoard things for awhile so I can wait on 1 stamp, I've got so many items in my SDB I won't really notice it.

Why doesn't TNT remove the frozen shops at least off the list? I understand that they can't delete everyone on the account in case they get it back - but there has to be some time limit set before they just delete everything.
I don't know how many shops I've seen that are frozen/disabled on the SSW with these items. I think there is a ton with the pizza or tomato.

I always seem to miss out when things retire. Oh, wait. I did catch Banans right before they retired. I never stocked the Pepperolive Pizza because there was no profit in it, but I had noticed the price of Organic Tomatoes rising over the past week. I was making a mental note to restock some but never got around to it. And now I know why my Organic Tomatoes sold out so fast today. Congrats and good luck to all those reselling! And now I should make sure I restock lots in my SDB so I can be ready the next time a food item retires.

I'm just lucky I was a little bored and decided to click on something that wouldn't normally interest me; 'news'.
Any thread that comments on retired items instantly gets my attention.
I'm one of those avid retired item collectors. There's over 22,000 of them in my SDB just waiting patiently for the prices to rise.
So today seeing some food items being retired, I jumped on them. Only got 200 of the pizzas, and didn't hear about the tomatoes in time, but buying them at 1,500 - 2,500 means I only need to sell 10 of them at the current price (40k) to make my NP back.
Most of the one use items that get retired (not introduced as special/retired) become unbuyable in a short about of time (keeping in mind that 'short' for me may be over a year).
Finding out about a retired list so soon after the event was a huge benefit to me (and I'm sure to anyone else who caught it). The NP will be swirling about the economy at the moment.
