Hey Sabrina :) In my experience, even 4M NB Ads seem to cost more then they're worth. Whether thats just because I was in the avvies/1000np deals section, I don't know. But I'm glad I'm no longer a 1000np deals shop. Variety is good, but when you have 10 pages of items with nothing in common but the price, it doesn't make your shop look too spiffy lol.

I am right there with you sabrina, but I will admit not every 4 million np ad pays for itself all the time, but they are better than any other notice board spot. Killer... I agree I don't think I would like have a 1000np deals shop. The profit just doesn't seem like it would be there.

What should you expect?[/quote] The ads would need to be top of page 1 (or in 2nd place) for it to be effective (after taking into consideration, the costs, etc) 1st place and 2nd place is pretty good but once you start getting 3rd place, it decreases alot and for spots like 1001 np, it'll won't be worth it. (Actually, i think even if it went up first, you'd still lose out since to break even, you'd have to sell an extra 300 items ) Finally, the ad needs to be crisp and creatively combine "cuteness" and sleekness (at least from experience) The target audience is 12 year old girls but simply focusing on cuteness isnt going to do it though. So yours went up today Saturday. So NEXT Saturday if it beat out the other posters then it will be on TOP of page 1 then. As the week goes on it will move closer to the top. Ways to advertise your shop: Boards, Can put shop link in siggy and just chat on the boards, post topics on the shop boards as well. Run sort after on topic items in the auctions and on the trading post. I looked at which ad you are in and crazy_foods runs a good ad.

I would think it would make a difference. Wearable items are popular, I would want the button to say that if I had a wearables shop anyway.
