Wow! A lot happening on this board. I over saw TML malls for over a year. When I started we had 3 or 4 malls. As our malls became full and flourished we opened other branches. All of my time, as well as the teams time, was devoted to these mall, overseeing supervisors, filling malls, training people to be mallers, etc. We were able to do this as we had a very dedicated TEAM of people that all WORKED TOGETHER to make this happen. Over time supervisors and the more experience players got busy and pulled in other directions. So new people were introduced. When new people are introduced, they don't just know how to do stuff. They need to be trained to do things and do them properly. After all this training people would sometimes stick around, sometimes not. Then the cycle began over again. This process is extremely exhausting. For months, MONTHS, we have been looking to recruit new qualified people to step up and help out with the malls, not just stick it with someone as that never works best for the mall. There has been no answer to this call. After a long time of mulling it over, the council had to make the best decision for those that were helping out. That decision was to place as many mallers as possible or place those that were interested in malling. Even with best efforts not everyone can be placed or be made happy. But do not think that this decision was easy or came lightly or that is was a snap decision. A complete revamp of malls takes weeks of planning. The mall page is there for anyone and everyone to see at any time. It is there for current members or for people looking for a mall. It has been updated pretty much on a daily basis to keep everyone informed of openings. It is not managements job to inform of those openings other than on that page nor is it management job to direct current mallers to go to the mall page. It is there to view at your leisure. I would also like to say that managing a mall or even a NB ad is a thankless job. Very rarely do these people who are managing, posting or supervisor EVER get a thank you. All of these things they do benefit many, NOT just their shop as previously mentioned. And ya know what...you are right, sometimes we do get an attitude. Why because with all the advice that is given to help make a shop better or a category better, very rarely does the person who is receiving the advice, do they actually follow it. So then it has been a waste of time:( So yeah a bit of an attitude does come out occasionally. There are many ways to mall and/or run a shop, there a many malls and/or NB ads out there. Anyone who has been misplaced only needs to look for them. You can look on the shop ad board at any time and find a mall. Another great place to look is the battle boards. Malls advertise there all the time:) It's your shop so invest some time in how you want to run it. If you don't or didn't like the mall rules or guidelines then use this as a stepping stone, regardless of how old you are, you learn from different experiences. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. This way if something like a mall revamp happens and you find yourself without a mall, you have other areas to look to.

I just want to say that I am sorry if feelings were hurt, but the mall changes were bound to happen. I will be the first to admit that maybe the communication could have been a bit better with the closings of the 3 malls. The leaders of the TML all tried very hard for the past five months to hold this whole mall group together, but we are only human after all and as much as I wish I could make everyone happy that is just not possible. We searched and begged for more of our mallers to step up and help us run these malls, but no-one was willing or able. I am sure all the mallers who we let go will find or start great new malls. Rob, Im gonna tell you right now. Knock your sh*t off. This is no way to be acting. It is a privilege to play Neopets and to be here on these forums. You either need to back off and take a haitus from everything Neopets-wise or just plain walk away. Neomallers is not a place for this kind of drama.

That made the supervisors think that you didn't want to be in the mall. If you're not happy with a mall, leave! It's not like you're bound to it or anything. It's a game. Us mall managers run these malls voluntarily and we definitely don't need to put up with crap and complaints. It's in the mall rules, that you participate in ads or you're out. You complain about them, we assume you don't want to pay them, so we put the spot up for someone else who'd appreciate our work a little more. I think that's all you do is complain. Do you try to create drama? Why not message people privately that you have a beef with and get your facts straight before starting complaints on the board. First the complaint about sweets and all she was doing was advertising. Then complaints about TML who follow their rules, and open your spot when you complain about advertising - which we rightfully assumed that you meant you didn't want to pay for them. We're not getting paid to run these malls you know, we do it in our own time, and we definitely don't need to put up with crap like this. Seriously, I know it's a kids site but you complain more than most 7 year olds I know. Grow up. I have no time for you to be bashing our malls, me, or my friends.

Rob all malls are going to have NB fees know matter where you go. You will have to deal with it or make your own mall without the nb fees. Yes the nb fees can get expensive and sometimes you dont make back your nps from that week etc but in the long run it is worth it if you upgrade your shop, keep a good stock and advertise. Dont leave it up to the owner of the mall to do the nb ads each week go and be productive and put some out yourself for 2k or whatever. Don't bash TML when you cant even run your mall right.

I agree with some of the people here; this is no way to handle your venting about TML. I stayed with TML for quite a while; they're an amazing group. What do you expect from a NEOPETS mall? I went into malling knowing that I was probably gonna disagree with at least some of the decisions the owners/managers make. And they were actually pretty communicative about the TML mall deletions -- they tried to give everyone a spot that was close to or their original selling category. For example, I've sold Food, Drinks, & Healthy Food my whole TML malling career. Due to the fact that I haven't RSed in a month caused them to change me to Bakery.. sure, I would've loved to have kept my original but at least they gave me a slot. (Although b/c of RL, I'm gonna do 'independent' shopkeeping now for a while till I find another great mall to be in) Give TML some credit. We're all on the internet here. Not everyone's always online, real life's more important, etcetera etcetera. They do a pretty good job of keeping everyone posted and in check. &that comment about your petpet shop being better.. that was totally unnecessary. -_- Have some fun in neo! maybe this is for the better so you can not worry about spending money on ads you think are not helping you.
