I think web based would be much easier since it's universal. No operating system/browser issues.
And if the web based is completed, i'd think everyone would want to switch to it since it can be integrated with the counter service... which means i need to find a way to import the neomallers portal data into the new system since I'm pretty sure everyone (except Nicole - I'm sure she wants to manually type out all 2800 of her items! :P) dont want to type out the wiz/mall data for each of their items
Hmmm... integrated with the counters and import.. then yep I'd probably jump on for sure. Maybe we can just tie Nicole in a corner somewhere until the kinks are out of it :P

Hey Now!!!!
I like the Portal. Honestly, I'm one of those people who hates change of any kind. I do use the graphs and seeing return customers is interesting. I use windows Vista and don't have any problems. I can't seem to figure out how to create a second data base though:(
Will there ever be a way to get our SDB into a database? I'd love to know what's in my SDB right now?

Me too on the "can't seem to figure out how to create a second data base" -- I know there is someone on here that keeps all their categories in separate databases (gourmet foods vs. reg food, etc.)

I didn't like the idea at first but the more I think about it the more I realize it'll be much more convenient. If Dmitri can figure out how to make it work, then I say go for it.

uncheck the default profile in settings, and create a new profile.
And sorry, no sdb database since it doesnt relate to malling that much and just brings up more work =/
I'm still thinking about it since i got the structure down and there's a lot of mess that i have to deal with. I'll also have to use javascript to code half of it (for convenience) but since many of you use noscript, that's gonna be problematic and i'm not gonna develop both web based and the regular version on top of the lite version + counters... maybe if i was earning $100,000 a year from it lol :P
