I have 13m pure.
Would it be a good idea to spend like 9-10m on my shop to make the jump to the Island market. (upgrading to 330+filling).
Some more info:
*I have shopsize 175
*I stock books
*I'm in a small mall with average shopsize 100
*I currently have stocked about 640 different books, including all water faerie quest books.
*I have a shopcatalogue
*I have an average of 40 visitors a day. About +-20 from the shop wiz, 6 from my mall, 10 from the forums, some from bookmarks/other.
*I restock a lot from the main neopian bookshops. (more profit for a small shop like mine)
*I joined my first mall(the mall I'm in now) 30 days ago, I had shopsize 68 only half filled with books.
Would be nice if you experienced people could give me a few tips :)

My suggestion is to fill your shop, then upgrade, fill it again, upgrade etc. That way you distribute your nps between stock and upgrades. Obviously that only works up to a certain size, depending on the category and how much stock is to that category.

My shop (size 175) is now completely filled.
I guess I would be able to upgrade it to size 330 and fill it too. But would it take a long time to earn the money invest in upgrades/stocking?

I wouldn't do it all in one jump, take your time. It's a lot overwhelming that way - trust me, I jumped from 300 to 400 in the same month and I stayed at 400 for a few months before I got on my feet again.

I actually think that I would take a different approach than Kimmie ^^. I know that large upgrades can cripple stock but here's the main thing; the biggest difference in the world is when you hit main market. Your store is flooded, sales are through the roof - especially compared with mini malling. So I would think that the faster you can get to main market the better - and the faster you will make your neopoints.
If you do decide to upgrade I do think that you should leave a bit of neopoints for stock. Maybe upgrade to size 300 and then stock? Something like that.
Good luck making a decision!

That's true, Emma. But I was thinking that because he wasn't going for main it wouldn't make that much of a difference? If it was a jump to main, then yes! Do it!
Also, if you upgrade, then maybe you could make it into a larger mall which will also help your sales, so in that way, upgrading is good too.

Unfortunately no:( I'm in the top huts of MI Market and only get 2-10 hits from my hut. Once I got 19 which was weird but still it doesnt bring in that much more business

It might not make much of a difference but you can move to a larger mall and get a lot more shop traffic.

Ok, tnx for the tips :)
I'm not going to leave my mall now. I just joined this mall and I think it would be disrespectful to leave already ;)
