Paintbrush Dealer Help??
I am having trouble finding a Paintbrush dealer so I was considering becoming it myself. I was hoping to find a little guidance as to what I can expect, how quickly do PBs turnover? Which ones are popular and is there anything that is involved besides the obvious?? Thanks for all your help. Likewise, if you are a PB dealer searching for a mall I would love to have you!! -Krazy

The PB sells are at their best with KQ, Tarla & the Altador giving them away. It has deflated the cost so a lot of them are buyable now. Of course it hurts at the time but you should make up the loss pretty quick. As for the dealers they're out there you just have to keep looking until you find the ones you like. Paintbrushes alone can stink but if paired with a cheaper spot like Morphing potions, or training, it will do very well

Good luck finding a maller to take that spot. I sold them for a while and really enjoyed it. Its may be expensive to stock but the profits are great ^^

I sell Paint Brushes (: I would never ever ever think about any other category. It is small and easy to keep up with and I make good profits and get tons of SW hits even though most are marked up 1-2k. I *think* you cannot SSW them, so it kind of makes it easier to mark them up. I get a good amount of traffic from advertising on the SA, but not that many sales (although there is the chance that someone is starting a PB Gallery and will buy you out. It happened to me like the second day I sold them. Unfortunately I cleared my shop history without checking to see if I had any more sales, so I'll never know who it was :o) I also have Morphing Potions in my shop. They sell pretty good too, especially the Orange Koi ones. I have a question also for any other PB sellers. I do not currently stock the basic colored Paint Brushes or Petpet Paint Brushes. I dont stock PBs, but if I did, I would include them for sure! Couldnt hurt right? More variety is better generally =)

They didn't sell for me nearly as well as the others but I think they help in the sense that if you price them ~90k you can price most of your others above 90k because people expect them to be more expensive than basic colors xD Just me theory

I hated when I had the basic and petpet brushes in. For me they sold for crap, but I also hated watching the prices on them too. I am sure now that I have the category back, I will eventually get them stocked.. but I disliked it so much I am not seeing any reason to rush lol

Yes, it's true that they can't be searched on the Super ShopWiz. When I stock them I have to find them on the regular shop wiz (which I hate using!). I'm not a paint brush shop, but I do stock them now and then. They would sell better in a shop of that category, but in my shop, I have found that I can't mark them up too much. Maybe 1k to 2k each, depending on the Paint brush. If I mark them up much more than that, they sit there for weeks. :P ~ Love books?
