I got into collectibles and...
I got into collectibles and I've been selling all right so far, I was curious if you thought my mark ups where to high? I have about 75% of my stock at wiz price or within 100np of wiz price, then the remaining 25% I have atleast 1k over. I am generating a good amount of hits for a shop of my size I think? (I've been getting around 30 since I updated my stock last) Any recommendations to increase profit or do I need to lower my prices? Do you think this will become a better category as I approach size 300+?

Sounds pretty good. As for performance, i think it'd stay around the same - might see some improvements but overall, that category isnt so hot and takes quite a bit of skill to pull it off

I thought it'd be a good category as it seemed logically like a good shop since I do light faerie quests and stamps and what not. Maybe I can talk to my mall leader and add a second set to my shop to improve my sales. I want to eventually to go main market because I don't have as much time to rs, and I really have enjoyed malling thus far.

You can make a lot of profit if you restock on 1/2 price day which is the 3rd of every month. I buy about 1-2,000 items that day and turn a great profit on stamps & cards. You should definitely price according to SW but you DO NOT have to be the lowest price! Price at the same price a lot of other people price and you will do well. Be picky about what you buy/when you buy -- just don't restock an item if you can't get it at a low price and by low price I mean able to make a profit if you sold it lowest on SW. I accomplish this by rotatating my stock. I have about 50-100 items that I substitute when my regular stock is going through an up-tick in it's price. Use the portal so you know what you are selling and how much profit you are making on each item you sell. And don't spend your shop till every day on restocking! Save at least 25% of it so you can upgrade/pay fees/fill your SDB on 1/2 price day. Best of luck to you! _____________________________________________________ ~ Mimi's Ménagerie Avatars ~ http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=temps_bons&misc

I'm not spending all my np everyday :) no worries there. I actually had the most profit I've ever made in a single day yesterday. I'm guessing after I stock I'll have made atleast 150k
