Click out of stock, makes negative and dissapears

Click out of stock, makes negative and dissapears
Ok so I have this issue where its like its so sensitive that ill click in my out of stock and the item will go to -1 and dissapear then I have to go and find it and make it 0 again and then go back to out of stock and then it happens OVER AND OVER and takes FOREVER. Is there something I can do to turn off that, i dont even know why it has to turn to a negative number upon sensitive clicking...

It fixes itself when you paste your shop front in again, so I just leave it and ignore :P

People who have like 1000 items out of stock might restock 100 of them, and take a break. If these restocked items showed up again, it'd annoy the *dung* out of them, hence the use of -1 to mark them as "taken care of"

My stock inventory has over 1100 items so I think I know full well how annoying it would be ;) But it causes me no problems

Oh so like, if it turns negative they will go back to zero when you re paste your shop front?!?! I didnt know that I thought it would stay negative forever so id be obsessively going back to fix them

Uh huh :) when you paste your shop front, it auto fixes the number in stock to whatever you have in stock, if the item has sold out since you stocked then it will show up as 0 again so that you know to restock the item again. There will be no trace anywhere of -

well i guess that fixes that problem LOL. well except when it dissapears I cant find out what i sold it for the prices cuz my click is so sensitive that it like picks up the next item

Another solution is to not double-click the item at all. Instead, just type in how many you stock as you go along. That way (at least if you're using the "Update In-Stock Value"-function when pasting your sales history) you only have to paste your shop front once and then never again - at least theoretically, it might be good to do that on a regular basis anyway.
