I like the Banner. It looks very Unique & attractive.

The colours are nice, bold and eye-catching, but the faeries are tiny! I can barely see them. Perhaps you could only show the head of each faerie, or use faerie dolls instead.

Dmitri is right. Most people don't realize they're actually losing out on profit when on a 4mil ad. The mall ones work, but the independant ones, my guess is that half the members aren't making the ad costs back and then some.

I've only been in a 4 mil ad twice now, so not much experience, but I did notice more traffic for the whole week the ad is up, or at least 3-4 days of it, so figuring profits based on more than one day, the ad either makes me a slight profit or breaks even. I figure, if it breaks even that's fine since it might bring in new repeat customers if people bookmark my shop. Your notice board ad is gorgeous, by the way! Really, really pretty! :) Speaking of ads, the thing that makes me most angry is that we little shops can no longer use the lowest pages of the notice board ads. I used to post about 3 ads per week aimed at hitting the last page, but recently some large shop rich people have been buying up literally 10-20 pages of ads at a time (yes, that's 100 to 200 ads placed in a row) which means nobody else can post at all. I think this totally abusing the system. I wish TNT would make a rule that one shop is not allowed to post more than say, 5-10 ads. The huge shops already get plenty of traffic, leave some crumbs for us smaller shops, would you? *complain* ~ Love books? ~ May ~ Well on the losing np thing, I don't think I'm losing np being on a NB ad, maybe breaking even, but I AM only paying for the faerie button so I pay way less than normal (only 70k) so even if I AM losing a BIT "directly" I am sure one or two people bookmark the shop and come back frequently and can, then, make up for the small loss I cna make on those days :P But that'd be a different thing if I had to pay almost 300k... I most likely wouldn't participate, more than 20-30k loss would be terrible to me, as a small shop (malling-wise)

I'm paying about 230k, but I make over 100k most days, so it's not a big deal. I figure as my shop grows, the percentage it costs me will be even less. :) Thanks for the laugh, Dmitri. 20 hits does make me feel a little better. I don't think filling the last page makes as much of an impact, though, since that whole page can disappear in an hour or less. Those people who buy like 20 pages are the ones that really bug me, because this stops everyone else from posting so their ads dominate for the whole week. I wonder what kind of hits they get?
