If you stock more expensive items you typically make more profit as well. I have tried to be sure I got my NPs back when I upgrade before I upgrade again -- I use 500K to upgrade -- I sell items that equal 500K in profit then I upgrade again. If you do a 4mill add by yourself, then your just throwing your nps in the garbage, because you might only get 100k out of that 4mill add. But, if you are in a mall, its less expensive. The profit you make depends on your mall and how many buttons you have on the banner. Its better when your mall has a lot of spots because then its a lot cheaper for you. I notice that people spend too much money on the 4mill adds, and barely break even, if not going so negative, where you struggle to make it back up. Just be careful and invest wisely.

Here's my two cents. 4-million MALL SPECIFIC NB ADS are ok for popular spots but usually a waste for spots like cards, battledome, etc 4 million NB ADS are USUALLY a waste for main mallers, for the most part. 4 million NB ADS are a waste for non-main. Less than 4 million NB ADS are a joke for main mallers Less than 4 million NB ADS are a roaring laughter for non-main mallers. And a little off topic, Ads = ads. not adds. Irks me whenever i see that two letter word mispelt for some reason lol
