My shop is size 105 and I had a Training shop for a little while, then just recently added Neggs, and for the short time (week?) I've been doing it it has been wonderful. Things like the regular codestones and bottled faeries that have such a tiny, few np gap in prices on the SSW, and sell out in a split second if SSW priced, I price over SSW. It just was NOT worth the effort to be on there for the exposure. For many of the Neggs though there's no issue pricing them on the SSW when there's a bigger gap in price on there. I don't price ridiculously high to begin with, because I'm not in any market. I don't advertise yet either. I did just join a mall for the fun of it but I'm not expecting to have the sales and profits of a main market mall, which I think is key. I'm not sure what you're looking to make but I've had ~57k profit today or 5.86% or so. For some people that might not be worth the effort but it sure is for me. :) I find the category fun as well, which is a big plus. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Neggs & items for all your training needs: http://www.neopets.com/browseshop.phtml?owner=_wildmoon_

**Statistics - Overview - 22/10/2009 to 25/11/2009 (35 Days) 1,978 items have sold for a total of 3,213,243 NP You have spent 1,552,244 NP This is a profit of 1,660,999 NP (107.01%) That's for food/drinks with about 30% SSW (not SW) priced items. In other words, about 600 of those were SSW priced items. I did not lose any profit. SW pricing gets a bad rap -- but the shops that don't use it....well that's just more sales for me :) :) ~ Mimi ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~ temps_bons graphics ~ http://www.neopets.com/~Mimi_Miaulement

I fill my SDB to the brim and sell those items all month. 600 items in 35 days is only about 17 items sold through SW a day. Out of the 500 items I sell each week 119 isn't too bad to price, especially when I don't have to look all those up. I have SSW prices in my Portal. When I start selling an item too quickly I check the price again (or when I need to buy the item because I've run out of them in my SDB). ~ Mimi ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~ temps_bons graphics ~ http://www.neopets.com/~Mimi_Miaulement

So, I'm getting into pricing things by the Shop Wiz for some, and I've gotten some fairly decent snipes and a lot more traffic without trying, so thanks for your help! :D ________________________________ Are you feeling lucky? Click Here!
