I would make the jump all at once. I recently sniped a krawk petpet from someone quitting, got 17mil, and upgraded from 400ish to 585. Luckily i joined a main market mall and im definitely seeing the change. So the jump would be alott better then slowly.

I'm no where close to getting to market, and I'm just slowly going at first until I'm ready to make the full on jump, but just looking at the comments here - and an outsider's view who isn't planning this herself, I think you should make the jump all at once. I agree with them, if the big season starts in March that is when you want to be in the market, and if that means jumping full on now then do that. Now if you can't make the full jump I agree with them in finding a great hut and then just sticking to the top until you're ready for it. Because what they're saying is true, its better to be in the main market to where you're getting hits and you can overprice your items more, than not and having to rely a lot more on either shop wiz hits or advertisement. But don't do it in a way that your shop will be completely empty. If there is absolutely no stock or to the point to where you can't restock a few pages, then what is the point in being main?
