Malling help?
I've tried malling in the past and i was never successful. Maybe it's because my shop size was never large. I tried books, luck, maps, and many other stuff, and my shop was size 115. I want to give it another shot. But this time, I want to invest some money in my shop. I have enough to upgrade my shop to size 363. With this size, let's say, is it possible to place an item 1k above sw price and sell it? Thanks for your help John

One big piece of advice: Size doesn't matter. ;) I would suggest reading a whole lot of the threads here. Size is only important for getting into huts, larger malls, etc. But in the end, it's all about advertising and pricing things smartly. Let your fingers do the walking for now, there's a lot to read here!

But like, how can I get customers to buy what I'm selling? If I sell stuff at sw price, i don't get any profit. If I sell stuff more expensive than sw price, no one buys anything...

Try advertising on the shop Ads board. I do it all the time and it really increases my sales. I price my items quite a bit over shop wizard price and i still get lots of buyers.

Hi Firedrake! Would like to say that Zixianna is absolutely right. Two things that will get you to learn how to have a successful shop. One of them is reading all you can about how to do it. The other is actually applying some of those ideas to see them work. I would like to provide you a great little link we have on our guild that helps our members that are interested http://www.neopets.com/~Anegil There are many ways to have a successful shop. They are many different forms of being successful. There is not magic button that gets you there over night. It's always, and I mean always, a work in progress. Anyone can do it if they are really interested:) A Simple Thank You Goes a Long Way!

Treat your mall stock as an extra to your sales, not your main part of it. Sure it is great when someone spends 200K in your shop, but you can't rely on it. I restock and snipe a lot, it majorly increases my traffic, particularly if I get items in my category that I can put at lowest on the wiz. And keep a lot of stock of your low priced items, I have a negg shop and sell a lot of items daily for under 5K, it might only be 1K profit per item, but it all adds up.
