hey 5tar, how things overlap is just based on how your order your layers. Usually when enter an element into your working banner like text, a neopets image, etc it goes on its own layer. To see and adjust the order of your layers just open the layers window using f7, or the windows tab at the top. It will list all your layers and in descending order. The bottom most layer will be overlapped by every layer in the list above. Just drag the white bg to the bottom of the list, so it doesnt overlap the stuff above it.

I think I might have read your question wrong. I think your trying to get rid of the white background around ea image and its blocking stuff. Just highlight the layer with the specific image containing the white background you want to use. In your tool bar select the magic wand or hit W. Touch it to any part of the white background around the image and it will highlight all the connecting white parts. Then just hit delete to remove it. Then hit ctrl+d to deselect your marching ants, and drag the image where you need.

if by animating thing your talking about the moving lines that show whats highlighted, and will remain around a blank space after you delete the white area, you just need to deselect. Thats what I referred to as marching ants lol. You can use the ctrl+ d to deselect or find deselect under the select tab at the top of Photoshop.
