So I was restocking my shop just now and came onto an item that I sold for 2k but couldn't find another item to replace it. So it became unbuyable isn't that really weird?

did you copy & paste the name from the portal to the SW? earlier it was saying it couldn't find a black belt. try pressing "containing my phrase" instead of "identical to my phrase", that worked for me
Yeah. I sold a WC map piece today and I usually overpriced those because I want to get all and then reprice them later. I almost laughed and then I checked the shop wizard and it became 99,999NP... I sold it for 40k. Darn.

That particular item seems really odd to me, seems two different items are somehow existing in search with that name, as I was looking it up for someone for a search the other day. The actual item shows up when searched identical actually. I got the ub type message off the ssw first identical search, refreshed again and it was there.
It's happened to me many times... more so when I was selling wearables than with collectables, but usually it is just someone buying them all up to make the price skyrocket and then it drops back down within a couple of days. I've learned not to stock the item when the price jumps so suddenly and just wait for it to drop back to where it was before. Not sure if it's the same sort of situation, but that's been my personal experience. :)
I haven't had this happen yet the opposite is usually my problem. I get burned all the time so I just quit buying massive quantities of items as a result. You never know when Tarly or Key Quest or who-knows-what-else-will-strike. I must say I was shocked to find that a pretty flower mask is now unbuyable when I got mine for 200 nps when I first started playing -- it was an 80K item then.
I have had the whole not found situation described happen to me too... I have just learned to redo the search and then try regular shop wizard. Regular shop wizard only checks a small portion of the market so it comes up "item not found" all the time for many items. I think you have to refresh 5 times or so to make sure it's really not buyable when using the regular shop wizard.
