I think the &nb link should only be used on the 4mil NB Ad. not even for cheap nb ads as some 4mil ad posters are doing, for someone those extra 10 hits might mean the palce in the ad, so i think it should be as accurate as possible. i wouldnt want to be mislead even for one hit if i am gonna pay 200k (or whatever price) :/

Hm, my thoughts on the subject are, hey if she's advertising for me go for it :D That's less shop boards I have to cover myself. Also I'm not particularly worried about inflation of counter hits. Counter hits don't necessarily equal sales. I judge the NBADs I'm on by my sales for that week, not if I've had a lot of hits. Yesterday, I had a rather low hit day, but I had one collector come in and spend over a million, and it turned out to be a great profit day. And I agree with Nicole there's no need to slander, even if you are on their ad. That should be a private discussion if it is to be a discussion *unsure*

Regardless though, if you weren't paying for that Ad, she would not be advertising your shop on the boards, so those are still hits you're getting from paying for the NB Ad *whispers to my mall mates* Feel free to advertise my shop for me any time you feel like it *lol*

Still misleading though, and while i'm at it, just so it becomes obvious I am not sour for any reasons inparticular, it says on her page that I made one of the banners... I dont think this should be private dicussion, but maybe not mentioning names woulda been appropriate lol but yeah the &nb should belong to the NB Ad itself and other hits (great idea and great of the poster to take her time for extra advertising) should be with &misc maybe? i think the point of the counter is to actually count how many hits come from the nb ad. this is what makes people decide if its worth doing the ad or not. although hits dont really show it, but the difference in the profit from what you get without being on any nb ads...

Thanks Nicann for posting most of what I was thinking while reading this. 1434 is going out of her way to help those who participate in her nb ads. She could always just mail her participants, ask if they don't want her to do that for them, and if they don't mind her doing that, then ask them if they care that she ads &nb at the end of their link. Since technically, she is only doing it for those who participate, it is almost like it is coming from the ad. Really, I would say those who don't participate shouldn't worry about it. Those that do participate should be the ones to decide. She is just trying to help and everyone is making a bigger deal out of it than it should be.

Or she can always make a separate part somewhere with the &nb taken out of the links. This is a simple fix as well.

I have two spots on her ad and I am thankful she posts links to my shop. For the &nb I am thankful she uses it this shows me where the hits came from. For posting she can bump my threads all she wants ;) I bump hers too the more you post and leave the link to your store the more advertisement you get.
