It seems a lot of people are grateful for what she's doing. And I agree, you should be! However, posting the &nb at the end of the link in my opionion, is irrelevant. As stated above, if anything- it should be &misc. Doing &NB is tricking members of the ad to thinking that the Hits are coming from the NB AD page. When their not. And too be honest- I feel hits that come from the NB AD page often come with sales. While hits that people click on the boards, are often just lurkers and people who don't buy anything. I think its great she's helping advertise their shops. But its called "&NB" why? Because its from the Notice Board. Not the "Shop Ads" Maybe make a &SA?

I have to say I do appreciate all of her efforts to help my sales. As far as what code she uses I could care less, if they come into my shop & don't buy then I must not have anything that interests them. And thats ok too. I love the counter & the stats as they do help with my sales. I guess I only notice when the numbers are low. It tells me if I need to see what happened in the hut I'm in or if my prices are too high for the SW to bring anyone in my shop. And not to forget about the ads that has really helped me to decide if I want to spend the nps & how many ads I want to be in. I really don't understand why anyone would be so anal & complain this is just a game & I thought we were all here for fun. I wasn't going to comment so that I wasn't responsible for keeping it alive, but I am in sweet's NB ad and I'm happy to take the hits wherever they come from. I don't find it misleading that the &nb tag is used because, like has been mentioned, hits don't equal sales anyway- I always use my sales history to judge. If you don't like it, don't join the ad. If you're not in the ad, it's none of your business...

Being on 1434sweet's NB ad I would like to give my opinion.. I understand Kulpio's argument about the '&nb' but I don't think it's fair to accuse her of misleading the ad payers. I believe she is genuinely trying to help out the people on her NB ad and probably didn't realise that some of them might be very particular about using the '&nb' to be used ONLY on the NB ads itself. So I guess this is a just a misunderstanding and thanks to the OP for bringing this up(even though it isn't nice to accuse anyone in public). Hopefully this issue will be cleared up within the ad payers & 1434sweet herself. Regarding advertising for others all over the boards, I don't believe there is any wrong in that as long as it is within neopets' rules or not off-topic. As long as the ad payers are fine with it, I believe she can carry on with it and I would like to say a Big Thank You for her effort! Hopefully everything will be cleared up and everyone can be happy again :D

I think if I were on her ad, I'd like her to do exactly what she's doing. Yes, it increases the hits from the &nb, but I'd like that better than anything because it's still hits due to being on her ad. I'd be thankful for any hits, it's still a hit due to being on her ad. Plus, people could use &misc for something else and that could skew their data. I don't think it's wrong at all. I guess it's better now that the people on her ad know, but really, there's a load of hits from the notice board, so her little posts on the shop ads boards isn't going to make that much of a difference at all.

Yes, it ads up to 4mil, but if there are 15 spots on the ad, it's cheaper per person than if there are 10 spots on the ad. Hope this helps!
