Depends on your button, placement and general neopets traffic. But if you want to know for sure, participate for a month or so and compare your profits.

Honestly, you'll have to test it out. People can tell you what results *they* had, but EVERYBODY has different results. You know that's sort of the purpose of having neomallers software - it allows you to test out what works and what doesn't. If you're not using the software for that reason I suggest you quickly learn how to use it for that reason.

one time i had the chance of having top 4mil ad on saturday and sunday and the ad was worth only for one shop - paint brushes. EVERYONE else barely made the nps invested, some didnt even come close, even wearables that is probably the best category. I made everyone calculate their profits. so even with two days on the weekend, the ad didnt pay off. I mean, all together, we didnt have even close to 4mil more profit than without any ads. so we decided not to post anymore :P

Unless this is only for a day? Because you do have to take into account the payment that you have paid for the advertisement therefore subtracting 147,478 to the payment.

Because the more publicity you have for your shop, the more people will know about it and go back to it as well.

[/quote] I don't really agree, I think for an ad to truly be worth it you need to do the following: 1) Make the cost of the ad back (for example I was on a top ad yesterday, it cost me 350k for the button, and I made that back, plus more) 2) However you then need to make your average profit for that day, PLUS extra profit, for an ad to truly be worth it. Lets say my normal average profit is 300k for example, add on 350k for the button, that means I need to earn over 650k for the ad to be "worth" it, in my opinion anyway. I only work that out from the peak day though, sure the ad brings extra sales throughout the week, and you have the potential for bookmarks too. As far as hits go, my total was over 3000 hits, however only 708 of them came from the noticeboard. I did amazing profits and hits yesterday, but the only reason I did so is because wearables are in insane demand right now. Overall I don't believe ads to be all that worth it. I take part in them though because any extra exposure is good for me since I don't mall fully for profit anyway, but because I enjoy making my shop the best it can be.
